During the concept phase, I presented two completely different creative approaches to the ASLA redesign. One code-named "Seattle" and the other "Manhattan." The clients—and myself—ultimately agreed that Seattle represented ASLA the best, and was the way to go.

Mobile and desktop designs were considered equally during the concept phase, but once we had a creative vision locked in, a mobile-first approach was taken—especially when considering the user experience.
